When writing in polish i have a hard time on knowing when to use i and y because they have similar pronounciations . so i was wondering when to write i instead of y ?

The sounds differ and they are used with different words i is pronounced as eee, any y is pronounced y. The word beautiful appears as y as in the word ladny .i..e pretty The word using the is in the word pienc, meaning five. Hope it works, Good Luck
hmm, to me the ”i” in polish sounds like the ”ee” in ”feet”, where as the ”y” sounds like the ”i” in ”it”.
why would you be writing with polish?????
