Would a Polish language version of an Xbox game also have the English language settings on there to switch to?

I live and work in Poland and hence, it is easier to buy the Polish games. They all come with a little PL stucker indicating that they are the Polish language version. All I want to know is if this is an additional language setting or a complete overhaul of the game.
This question would apply to any foreign language version of an xbox game I imagine, so if you have experience using French, German or Spanish language versions, maybe you can help.
