Why do Polish women speak better english than polish men?

I work with polish people and all the polish people at my work the women speak good english but the men only speak basic english why is this?
Maybe its just the few at my work but both are friendly and helpful.

I have a perfect explanation for this. I’m Ukrainian. My mom speaks perfect English. My dad barely speaks English. We’ve been in America 13 years.
My mom works on her English and is determined to be good at it. On the other hand my dad says its useless because one day he plans to "return to Ukraine." Also a lot of times men just don’t have time, and really don’t care.
