Which Polish translation of the Bible is the equivalent of the English King James translation?

I'm buying a gift for a religious friend who grew up bilingual in Polish. In English, the King James Bible is often regarded as the most poetic, more so than new "plain English" translations, and for many years was held to be the standard English translation. Is there an equivalent in Polish-language translations?

A word of warning:
Polish nationals are, by huge majority, Roman Catholics. Make certain that the bible you purchase includes the so-called "apocrypha" (or at least the complete Roman Catholic canon). For the record, the original King James Version included these books, but later editions and revisions usually exclude them. Indeed, most KJV editions are abridged to the point that they are hardly recognizable as the work produced by the translators in 1611. There are only 2 complete editions in print of which I am aware.
