Is there any some sort of a "pattern" in the conjunctions that can gives the reader/listener a "humm" about the "Derived terms"..?
And yes, I am knowned about "perfective/imperfective" verbs in polish..

zrobi - I Will do
zrozumiem - I will understand
zjadę - I go by downhill

napiszę - I will write
wypiję - I will drink up
zobaczę - I will see

Who out there knows some Polish?

I've seen a lot of people on here asking about French, Spanish, etc. (Latin languages or Germanic). How bout some Slavic languages? Anybody out there speak Polish or Russian? I'm trying to learn Polish and I was wondering if anyone knows any good sites, books, publications, or other ways of practicing so that I can become fluent. If anybody has any verbs they'd like to give me, they would be appreciated as well.
I'm looking for useful phrases, common verbs (to speak, to say, etc.). I would also like any suggestions for textbook-like publications. Also, my vocab is kinda weak, but I'm just looking for suggestions.

Learn Polish language online free?

My friend speaks fluent Polish, but struggles with English. I want to learn Polish so that we can talk more easily. What are some good websites with Polish lessons that are FREE? I'd like to learn at least the equivalent of a high school Polish 1 course- verbs and nouns, grammar, vocabulary, etc. Something of the http://www.studyspanish.com caliber would be ideal! So... free polish lesson websites with lots to learn. Thanks!
Thanks for your help! Those are great, especially the last one which is exactly the sort of thing I had in mind.

I have been trying to learn Polish language for a year, and I know the alphabet, colours, most animals and fruit and vegetables and basic sentences, but i cannot understand the verbs at all...

Is there anyone that would help explain this to me?
