I have a 74 page family history thats written in Polish. Do you know of any type of software that can tranlate it? I'm thinking of a type of thing that would let me scan the pages in and then print out an English translation.

can you translate this into polish?

Jurij Dalmatin (c. 1547 - 1589) was a Slovene Protestant priest, writer and translator.

Born in Krško, he became a preacher in Ljubljana in 1572. He was the author of several religious books, such as Karšanske lepe molitve ("Beautiful Christian Prayers", 1584), Ta kratki würtemberški katekizmus ("Short Württemberg Catechism", 1585) and Agenda (1589). However, his most important achievement is the complete translation of the Bible into Slovene language. The original title of his integral translation was Bibilija, tu je vse svetu pismu stariga inu noviga testamenta, slovenski tolmačena skuzi Jurija Dalmatina ("Bible: Here Is the Whole Holy Scripture of the Old and the New Testament, Translated to Slovenian by Jurij Dalmatin"), and it was published in 1584, printed in the bohoričica script. The translation set the standard norm of the Slovenian literary language which held, with several innovations in vocabulary, up to the first half of the 19th century.

Dalmatin died in Ljubljana in 1589.

====translate only the english parts, the slovenian parts could be left as they are====

Can anyone translate this paragraph into Polish?

After I graduate High School, I plan on attending the University of Illinois and major in journalism. I hope to pass the oral exam for the Polish language and receive a certificate, therefore as a back up plan, I will minor in language interpretation and translation. Currently I am also studying the Spanish language which will greatly expand job opportunities for me in the near future. Polish school has been a wonderful as well as an educational experience for me which I will never forget.

Please do not type this into Google Translate or any other online translator, the conjugation is all wrong. I know how to translate this paragraph, but I am having trouble with some of the vocabulary like how to say "major in" and "minor in" in Polish? I gave you the whole paragraph so you'd get what I'm talking about. lol

Thank you in advance.
Da Guy- LMFAO. no.

Don't even think about using Poltran or any online site. C'mon my Polish friends, don't let them take those 10 points that you rightfully deserve. :) By the way congratulations on having such a nice language and such a great artist, Reni Jusis.

Czasem na dnie serca czuję
Moje życie znów przerasta mnie
Nie potrafię więcej unieść
Za daleko posunęłam się.

Znowu uciec chcę
Gdzie nikt nie znajdzie mnie
Chociaż pierś rozdziera krzyk
Niemych wołań przecież nie usłyszy nikt.

Dlaczego coraz szybciej żyję
Choć nie cieszy już to co mam
Wciąż odwagi mi brakuje
By z codziennością stanąć twarzą w twarz.

Niemy Krzyk.

Thanks!
I previously received an online (though I said none of those) translation that was faulty and I didn't even know what it was talking about. Fluent people would be great. 10 points my friends, don't let the freeloaders take up space. :D

I'm curious about the translation of the song Jak Anioł by Kasia Kowalska. Counting to ten is about the extent of my knowledge with the Polish language, so I'm hoping that someone who speaks Polish will come across this. I like the sound of the song so I'm interested in knowing what she is actually saying. Here are the lyrics:
Naiwnie dziś chcesz zatrzymać ten czas,
masz prawo by żyć najłatwiej jak się da.
Nie bój się słów tak pragnę słyszeć, że
potrafisz sam odnależć miejsca swe.

Cały czas szukaj szans
Wyrwij się z życia ram.
Uwierz mi szczęście jest w nas.

Każdy dzień przeżywaj tak.
jakby się miał skończyć świat.
Może czas wreszcie być sobą
i zacząć na nowo.
Mogę ja i możesz ty,

Mogę ja i możesz ty,
robić tak by lepszym być
ponad strach wzbić jak anioł
wysoko tak samo.

How do you write 'The Beautiful Sheep' in Polish?

Apologies in advance for the soppiness...

So, Polish is not my strong point! Well, I don't speak it at all!! Basically, my girlfriend is Polish and her nickname is sheep (don't really know why, just kinda evolved). So on occasion, via email, SMS etc. I call her owieczka (sheep)!
I've written a poem for her in English that I'd like to have professionally framed in time for Christmas and I desperately want to make sure I get the title right. I know that sometimes the translation does not always carry-over correctly so I would be happy with any of the following:

'The Beautiful Sheep'
'Dear Sheep'
'The Little Sheep'

Hoping someone can help.

Many thanks in advance.

I am trying to find a translation more exact to the way the word is used in Polish linguistics. Thanks.

I want to get a tattoo in polish (the majority of my heritage) which has the effective meaning of "bottoms up." However, I figured a direct translation would not work, so I was wondering if there is a phrase which captures this sentiment. "Bottoms up" is kind of like f**k it, live your life, and try not to worry about tomorrow too much. Any ideas?

I'm buying a gift for a religious friend who grew up bilingual in Polish. In English, the King James Bible is often regarded as the most poetic, more so than new "plain English" translations, and for many years was held to be the standard English translation. Is there an equivalent in Polish-language translations?

How to become a Polish translator?

I'm planning on getting a tattoo, and I'd like it to say "I am loved." - but in Polish.

Jacek Dukaj is one of the best modern science-fiction writers in Poland. I've read translated paragraphs of his work and online reviews and I'm very interested.
If you know of any real full translation can you give me a link to an online store or an article about this ?

Is anyone interested in translating some of his work ? :)

How would i write "do not clean this room" in Polish, in writing so that native Polish speaking people would understand it. I know not all languages translate literally so a phrase that means this would help also. I had little luck finding such a translation on google searches, probably due to certain punctuation marks or characters that the internet could not read. Will some kind person please help me with this?

How can I find a Polish translation of a novel?

I would like to find a translation of Ayn Rand's "The Fountainhead" for a Polish-speaking friend, but I do not know how to find a translated version (if it exists, though I think it probably does).
