A relative of mine grew up on the estate of Baron Schwitalski (switalski?). I'm not sure of the spelling of the name, or of the rank, for all I know he was a Count. Apparently the estate took a day to ride around on a horse. He was the count or baron of Gnesen germany, which today is Gniezno, Poland. I can't find any record of him, mostly because I don't know for sure i'm spelling his name right, and I don't know his rank for sure, and I can't read or write Polish...but he was a big deal in gnesen once upon a time, I'm hoping to find his name on a comprehensive list of german or polish nobility, but I can't find one of those either, help.

I speak Polish very fluently, and can understand over 80% of things my parents/family say. I started to learn Polish as a child, so it isn't my native/primary tounge.

I need to know how to write the word for "kitty" in Polish. I just adopted a cat from a Polish lady who would call the cat "keet-cha" (phonetci spelling). "Keet-cha" is the word for kitty she said, and the cat only answers me when I call her that. Does anyone who speaks Polish know how to write and spell that word so I know how to write it?
