I want to find a website where I can just type in the polish word or sentence and it will pronounce it for me. I've only been able to find website that have phrases or words there and they pronounce it or tell you how to pronounce it, but in order to help me in my Polish class I need something where I can put in the specific words or phrases I need.

I would like to learn Polish (especially conversational). I've been directed to the site below, but the speaker is much too fast, and gives long phrases. I'm good with languages, but I can't make out at all what he's saying. It's a shame, because otherwise it looks like a well laid-out website.
TIA!

I am part German and Polish, and I want to touch on my roots. Someday I want to go to Germany and study for a semester during college (Spring Break next year I'm going for a week), as well as Poland if I could, and I just want to brush up on the basics--- alphabet, pronunciation, vital vocabulary/phrases, etc.
Does anyone have any good FREE online helping tools suggestions? It means a lot to me, to learn about where I came from, because the rest of my family doesn't really care. :S
Thanks in advanced

i'd like something that will allow me to cut and paste phrases into a window, translate a letter as i type it, or something along those lines. (if you speak polish and have time on your hands to translate some short phrases i email you, i will be forever grateful and do what i can to return the favor)

It's the same letters except there's little marks on them. But no other "letters". I don't wanna have everything in Polish, but I wanna type certain words or phrases in Polish using their alphabet, or should I just use the English alphabet, it won't always come out right, though.

I am trying to teach myself Polish. I have this "Polish in Four Weeks" book that has different phrases and stuff and i just want to learn kinda of basic so it works. But the part on how to PRONOUNCE everything is not fully explained. That seems like the hardest part to me. Because they have the same alphabet but way different sounds.
So i looked on line for something better. And they explain is better with better examples and everything. But now the problem is that different web sites say DIFFERENT things. So i am all lost and confused. If any of you have know Polish pronunciation, do you think that you could find me a list of the alphabet and how to say the letters?? One that is the REAL thing? That would be a HUGE help. Thank you!
