I just saw them film "Twin Falls Idaho" and I am completely in awe of the Polish brothers. Having experienced the loss of my mother, my partner and my best friend all to liver cancer and all within the same year. I guess that's why
I was struck by the movie and it's message about separation. There's a particular scene at the end with a shot of Blake standing alone, missing parts of himself that I can't get out of my mind. Incredible talents. I want to write or email them to let them know how much I admire them as writers and actors. Michael Polish has such a gift as a director and storyteller, I hope he never stops making films. I've read about how well they collaborate together when they're making a film. I'm an identical twin myself. I wish I could get along with my brother long enough to make phone call.
Well, once again, I loved the story, the film the music, the casting, everything about it. What an outstanding achieviement.

Her future is uncertain at this point, but I just took the time to learn the Polish anthem on guitar. She is 90 years old and is full of polish pride. I figured it would cheer her up instead of just laying in the hospital bed, as I foresee her singing along. However, a friend just told me NOT to do it because she might think she's dying. She speaks no English and I have learned SOME Polish over the years to try to communicate with her but I feel music might be the best words I can give her. I plan on spending the night up there with her (and letting her talk to me in polish so I can pretend to understand ). Should I bring my guitar or not?
