How can I get permanent marker off my fabric couch?

I tried the alchol, nail polish remover, and hairspray, and it help a little bit, but you can still it. I've blotted and blotted and don't know what to do, it's brand new couch, and my son wrote his name on it in big bold letters.

I learned Spanish this year, and soon fell in love with languages in general. So, I decided that next year I want to learn a little bit more about my heritage and learn either Polish or Gaelic. But how many people actually speak Gaelic in Ireland today? No doubt it would be interesting to learn, but would it be usefull?

English to Polish, Whats a good website for this?

I want to learn how to speak a little bit of polish but i don't know how to pronounce the words.
I want to find a site that can translatee english to polish and pronounce the words as well as spell them out.

I labeled it wrong, and would like to remove the writing so i can write the correct title
i read somewhere that a little bit of alcohol on a cloth will do the trick, and since theres alcohol in nail polish remover, i was wondering if that would be the same
and if this would work safely without damaging the DVD

Polish name for a flower?

My parents named my little sister "Nelleke" (my family's part Dutch) - my Polish grandfather died when I was very little, but I do remember him saying that that name sounded a little bit like a word or name for a flower in Polish. Does anyone who knows Polish have any idea what flower he could have been talking about?

Any Polish word at all that sounds like "Nelleke" or "Nellke"? We were talking about it this morning and we're trying to figure it out.

What is the best way for me to learn Polish?

I can already speak it a little bit and understand most if it. My grandma doesn't really speak English too well and learning Polish would be very helpful. I can somewhat read it and know a little bit of the basics.
