I just got a text message that I believe is in Polish...I looked up a few words on the internet and it said that they are Polish. I do not know the person at all and I believe it is a wrong number..but I am just curious as to what it says, if anyone can translate this please. Thank you so much ahead of time. I'm going to write it exactly as it appears in the text message. I tried to use a translator but it was only giving me a few words and not others and most of what it gave me was incoherant...here it is...
Zyjecie tam? Babcia pyta czy macie juz majtki i koszulki? my juz po wigilijnej kolacji.a u Was wszystko w porzadku?zyczymy Wam cieplych, radosynch, zdrowych swiat
I apologize if it is not Polish...but if anyone knows what language this is and can translate it, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I have to say a few short words at a wedding between an Irish Groom and Polish Bride.......
"Welcome everybody here today on this special day"..........
Toast "The beautiful Bride"
Toast " The happy couple"
Say my few words in English and then finish with some more Polish like
"Enjoy the evening everybody"
I have tried some google and yahoo translator tools but it never comes out the exact way I want it!
I have no clue of how to speak Polish so I need this clearly spelt out and easy to pronounce , maybe written phonetically for me , I'm a disaster I know , thanks in advance people.

My family moved to America in 1911. On my mothers side of the family I am a pure blood Polish. I know that my great-great grandmother only spoke Polish, my great grandmother wanted nothing to do with it, my grandmother speaks a little Polish and my mom and I know a few words. My mom's maiden name is Kuzniewski. I want to know how I can learn about my roots because the information I just gave is all I know.
I have always been viewed as a little Polish girl, since I was a baby my mom always called me her "Little Polish Princess." I want to learn all I can about my ancestry and traditions etc.
For my wedding I looked up Polish wedding traditions and found a few that I loved. One was the family giving wine, bread and salt to the new couple. Another I loved was the Czypek. I don't know how accurate they are I just know that is what I found by doing research.
Please help me learn about where I came from.
Also would my name (Kelli) be pronounced differently in Polish? My grandmother didn't know.

I can also identify (but not fully translate) Dutch, Norwegian, Polish, German (I know a few words in German as well), Spanish (identical to French in grammar structure and some vocabulary), and a bit of Brazilian Portuguese.
What jobs can I look forward to?

I'm Polish but i can't speak fluently except for a few words. I hate using translators since the usually get it wrong but can someone, preferably someone who speaks fluent polish, tell me how to say this- the words are fine as long as they are spelled correctly since I know pronunciation. 10 to the best!

I got a text message. Wrong #, but I wanna find out what it means. It says:
"Czy mozesz mnie gdzies spotkac jutro?"
I'm half Polish but don't speak or read Polish, except for a few words (yet). I'm positive that it's a slavic language. I really think it's Polish because I've asked 3 different friends who speak 3 different slavic languages, and besides, I really thought I knew it was when I first saw the message. Thanks in advance!!!
WAHHHH!!!!! U GUYS GOTTA FIGHT OVER BEST ANSWER!?!?!?!?!?!

My Mother speaks English but her Mother only spoke Polish. My Mother was born in America and spoke only English learned from her father who spoke good English. Her Mother never learned English and spoke Polish with her husband but never talked to her daughters much. The kids only knew a few words of Polish.
Have you ever heard of something like this before? It must be somewhat common in immigrant communities?

I speak English. My grandparents were Polish, and I have memories of them speaking Polish all the time. Unfortunately they died before I could ask them to teach me.
Now that I'm an adult I find myself wishing I knew how to speak the language. When I mentioned this to my father (Polish as well, but only knows a few words) he gave me a tourist book and I am overwhelmed! It seems very complicated.
Can an old dog learn a new trick?
