I am fluent in English, French and Polish and have always wondered what Polish sounds like to people who didn't grow up speaking it. Does it sound harsh, soft, fast or poetic? Does it sound similar to another language? This question is aimed primarily at speakers of a European language. Also specify what your native language is. Thanks in advance.

Do not say Spanish. I had it like everyone else in middleschool and hated it with a passion.

However, I am learning German easier and quicker than I did Spanish.

Anyway though, I want to learn alot of languages. I obviously speak English. I like European languages. German, Finnish, Russian, Polish.

What European language do you consider easy to learn? I know it also depends on the person, as they might learn better if they are generally interested in the language they are learning.

But in your opinion, what is it?

What Slavic languages are closely related to Polish?

I speak Polish & English, so which European language would be pretty simple for me to learn, if closely related to Polish?
