i have some old pictures from poland with some polish written on the back. i've tried various online dictionarys and translators and none of them are too reliable, only giving me random words and whatnot. so i was wondering if anyone who spoke the language would be willing to help me translate them.
there are a few of them so we could probably do it by email, but the first thing i want to learn with what "wa pomiął hę" means. it's in quite a few of the photos, and i'm kind of guessing that it's a greeting of some sort.
thanks in advance.

A friend of mine use to say something that sounds alike "pierook", and she said it means dork/nerd/geek. Is that right? How do I write it (I was planning to send her an email and name her after it:-P)?

For four years I'm listening to this track from Three Colors: red of kieslowski and I have always loved it without knowing the meaning. I have searched everywhere to find the meaning but I couldnt. If you are a native polish, please kindly write your Email so that I can send you the track. I love polish literature, polish music and polish cinema, and I think I have to learn the language.
best wishes

I just received an email from my Polish boyfriend who subjected the title of his email "Jesteś taka śliczna". Hopefully, this won't be something inappropriate to translate but if anyone can, please let me know what it means. If you help me out, I will continually ask you for help since he'll be sending me emails as long as I'm gone.

Hello, I am very interested in learning to read and write polish - but not necessarily to speak it. I am looking for a friend to interact with me electronically via email or chat in order to help me learn to read and write polish. I am an absolute beginner. I wish to do this in order to conduct research on my family and would enjoy very much to be able to translate foreign documents on my own. I am a student and so I do not have much money. Therefore, I seek someone who would be willing to do this for mutual enjoyment. Someone who wouldn't mind making a friend and designating a couple hours a week to help me learn the language of my ancestors.
If you are at all interested, I would love to discuss this further.
Thank you
Jen
