Question about LOT (Polish Airlines) & Cancellations due to volcano?

I have a flight for tomorrow (April 17) flying to Warsaw from Toronto [Pearson] at 6:15 pm. I was just wondering if anyone knows the procedure for cancellations from LOT.
The travel agents seem to have no idea what they are talking about so I was wondering if anyone here knows.
Do they tend to offer a full refund or a credit minus penalties ?

Did you get a 100% refund or did they allow you to fly? I have a flight to Warsaw on May 1st and I’m calling now to cancel, I was told that I have to pay the $150 penalty because my flight is 2 weeks away. But I have no desire to vacation in Poland anymore. Let me know what happened with your refund and your flight.
