Pimsleur is a good start on conversational Polish, but Polish is a language that you must take slowly if you are a native speaker of English. I've found that combining Pimsleur with the book and CDs of "Teach Yourself Polish" and a good Polish grammar (I use "Polish: An Essential Grammar" and "301 Polish Verbs") makes a good combination of resources. Oh, and fork over the $150 for the Oxford Polish-English English-Polish dictionary set. It is worth every single penny because it is filled with examples of usage for every single word. I've never used their products but they are supposed to be pretty good. They use the immersion approach. It is a pretty expensive system though.
