How soon before US companies say no job unless you speak spainsh like in UK no job unless you speak Polish?
British workers have been turned away from jobs in a local factory – for not speaking Polish.
Cooked meat manufacturer Forza AW effectively barred anyone but Poles for applying for jobs on its production line in East Anglia by insisting all staff speak the language fluently.
The company claimed it was necessary as all health and safety training was conducted in Polish.
But Forza – a major supplier of Asda supermarkets – was last night accused of anti-British discrimination because of the adverts, which came after an official report detailed how unscrupulous employers prefer to hire migrants because they are cheap and less inclined to answer back.
Forza’s insistence on Polish speakers may be illegal, as a spokesman for the Government Equalities Office said last night: ‘Under the 1976 Race Relations Act, unless there is a genuine need for a worker to speak a particular language it is against the law to require that they should do so as a condition of employing them.’

That advertisement is blatantly illegal – it is illegal to discriminate between applicants for a job in the UK on ANY grounds unless they are related to actual suitability for the job. But nothing will be done unless someone takes them to court. It would be open to a non-Polish speaker to apply for those jobs, be refused, and get Forza prosecuted – and they would win.
Forza say the advertisement was a mistake – it’s a mistake my foot (if that expression translates into American English) or to put it another way, if that’s a mistake, I’m a banana. It is obvious that they know Poles, who are free to live and work in the UK under the EU freedom of movement rules (and a lot have been moving to the UK since Poland joined the EU), are willing to work for less. It has to be said that a lot of Poles are finding that the streets of the UK are not as paved with gold as they thought and have moved back to Poland.
I’m not always inclined to believe what I read in the Daily Mail. Years ago it was a respectable middle-market newspaper but it has now degenerated into a right-wing mildly sensationalist tabloid that tends to report a little too simplistically, rather like the Daily Express. This story has the ring of truth about it, though.
It has been happening in the U.S. for a long time. There’s a coffee shop I stop at each morning that currently has a help wanted sign looking for a night clerk…"must speak Spanish".
Sorry to bust any bubbles but it is already here. Where I work you have to know Spanish in order to have the job. I Learned some Spanish since that is all that is spoken there and nothing else. The management speaks English but that is about it.
Some people were born in the Untied States but they refuse to speak English. I refuse to speak Spanish so I am given the most mundane and ridiculous jobs that nobody wants. I complained to the board of labor who is also run by Hispanics. So they laughed at me when I said I was being discriminated against.
Apparently only white people can be considered racists. Unfrackenbelievable but not really when you look at the entire neighborhood. It has totally changed and so have the taxes. Property taxes were at between 1600 to 2000 bucks. Now its at between 13000 to over 20000 for the same property. Its also harder to find a job here and getting harder every day. They have employment agencies that find work for you but they only work with illegal aliens. If you are a citizen you cannot use those agencies.
The only thing American about this place is the few channels that still speak English. There are more Spanish channels then there are English channels. I have been demoted in my job to the point I am practically going to be out the door soon. For the simple fact that I refuse to learn and speak Spanish fluently.
That is why if I leave America I won’t really be leaving America. I’ll be leaving some craphole South and Latin American dump in the Northern Hemisphere. There is very little that is American here. Even the billboards are in Spanish here. Its very hard to find a place that does speak English. In the morning when I go to work all I see are illegal aliens on bikes, vans loaded with people and buses crammed to the max. Its all illegals going to work in these factories.
I bet they all speak only Spanish. You know I am no where near the border so I can safely say that this is not America anymore. If there is a riot they are going to win. I know where I live they will win. Those mother frackers are always keeping an eye on my house so I know they want it. A person can’t even own a gun since its against the law. But somehow all the illegal alien gangs have guns.
I guess they wanna make it easier for them to take over. Man America is so screwed its only a matter of time nothing more. Even here in yahoo answers you can’t talk about it. Those websites that report the truth about illegals are rated as dangerous websites. The entire country is changing completely. The whole state here is a sanctuary for illegals and the illegal aliens know it too. So they are pouring in here like a tsunami.
Whats up with illegals and medical care. They have no money for health care and that is all you see in the medical office and hospitals. Then I go there with real medical problems and I am told that I am abusing health care wtf. I go in there bleeding and I am told I am abusing and these mother frackers are going there cause they sneeezed last night lmao. The nurses and doctors feel so sorry for them for that lousy little sneeze they had. There is way too much corruption.
