How difficult is it to learn Polish?
I speak English. My grandparents were Polish, and I have memories of them speaking Polish all the time. Unfortunately they died before I could ask them to teach me.
Now that I'm an adult I find myself wishing I knew how to speak the language. When I mentioned this to my father (Polish as well, but only knows a few words) he gave me a tourist book and I am overwhelmed! It seems very complicated.
Can an old dog learn a new trick?

Hello,
I can help you in learning Polish language.
"If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again. "
The pronunciation is not hard, i however have come to9 find out that it’s easy to forget…lol…I will have a phrase in my head for a day or 2 then POOF it’s gone
I"ll give you an example how the declension works.
the word miasto (city) is declined:
singular plural
miasto miasta
miasta miast
miastu miastom
miasto miasta
miastem miastami
mieście miastach
miasto miasta
In Polish there are 7 cases.
The seven cases we have indeed make it a bit difficult, but in contrary to English language, in Polish there are only three tenses.
These tenses are just like:
1. Simple Past (czas przeszły).
2. Present Simple (czas teraźniejszy).
3. Future Simple (czas przyszły).
