I looove hearing the German exchange students speak German because, well, I dunno it’s just really cool.

It’s not written correctly in Polish, so i think it will be kind of hard.

I speak Polish very fluently, and can understand over 80% of things my parents/family say. I started to learn Polish as a child, so it isn’t my native/primary tounge.

Just noticed a site that says Gretzky is of Polish descent. Weird, considering Poles usually write their names with -"ski" spelling if they have such an ending. I’m looking for an English to Polish translation

I’m learning a poem by Maria Pawlikowska Jasnorzewska, and there’s a word in it that’s not in the dictionary: obalone.
As in: Dzis obalone cudem, jako kula kregiel, spoczelo w snie niepamieci –
Does ‘obalone’ mean overthrown? And what does the sentence mean?
