She has let him clearly know not to pick out her clothes. I have been to some web sites, but not having allot of luck finding anything. He is in the process of getting a divorce and him and this polish lady have all ready been talking about him getting an apartment so he can come see him. He is living with us at the moment. I have never met this lady yet. But I do not judge people. Am just trying to help make it a little easier for him to understand her.

I've only been able to find website that have phrases or words there and they pronounce it or tell you how to pronounce it, but in order to help me in my Polish class I need something where I can put in the specific words or phrases I need.

I'd like to learn these as my top five languages to pursue a career as a translator. Most important is Arabic, followed by Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, and lastly Polish.

I went on to Ancestry.com and researched my grandparents heritage and there parents and found out my grandmother is Polish or from Poland and my grandfather is from Canada. He is french canadian. I am 3 quarter french canadian and a quarter polish and cherokee indian. The indian is on my fathers side of the family.
I want to learn more about the French Canadian heritage. What is the best way to learn and understand the history? I would also love to learn to speak french.
Also where does the French Canadian originate from in Canada?

I have a lot of internet friends, and most of them are from Europe. They can all speak English fine, but I would love to be able to "Grasp the Basics" of what they're saying.

As just for typing and reading, which language would be the easiest for a native English speaker to learn? German, French, Dutch, Polish, or Norwegian?

I speak conversational polish, but a businessman wants to start business with me, and sends me emails of which I can translate about 80% by myself, but there are gaps. Some people want so much per word, but want to translate the entire emails. I need to find someone who can help me come up to speed and understand what he is saying, without paying for entire email translations, as I was laid off from my job recently, and don't have any income yet...

We like to try and be all inclusive and use writing in as many languages as possible around the setting. I say yes and then I begin a conversation but it only lasts for ten minutes and all I talk about is my parents from Poland and how I once visited Keiv. She seemed interested but I can tell that my conversation was really boring. She on the otherhand is Ukraine -American. At my work a coworker of ours wrote on the white board and on blastic bins with permanent marker. We've tried rubbing alcohal, Goobi-Gone, and Nail Polish remover. Nothing has worked and we're thinking of trying keorsine (sp). Or just buying a new white board.

Hi there, I am half Polish but haven't spoken the language since I was 3, so my level is so innacurate. For many reasons I have a phrase I wish to get tattooed, once I find a good fluent speaker in both languages, annoyingly none of my friends or family fit the bill.

The phrase I'd like to get is "Family shows (or is shown) through love, not blood."
