there are more fluent polish speakers than irish ones
Does anybody know a good school or online program to polish my writing skills. I am ok with speaking but really struggling when I have to write something.
Or maybe there is a good software what can fix my grammar (I am having difficulties to put words into right order)
My location UK-London.
Thanks in advance!
If so, where should I start. I know spanish almost fluently, and I'm very passionate about learning Spanish and Polish. Where should I start and is it possible. I'm 15 if it helps. I can't buy any books or classes but I found lots of free net sites that have good info.
If you're on the street, on a bus, or in a store and you see a White person speaking Polish, Swedish, Ukrainian, or even German (less common in America) how do you feel? Do you view them any different than Anglo Americans, especially Anglo-Saxon Protestants (WASPS)?
I'm writing a short story. Do Polish Jews tend to have middle names, or just a first name and a surname? If they do have middle names, is it patronymic, or just ordinary?
I really admire Jewish culture, so it's important for me to get this right.
Thanks so much for your time. ![]()
Talking about toes, with a base coat, 2 color coats, and 2 top coats.
Does anyone know a good program i can download, preferably for free to learn polish? besides byki.com
I need help with translate. I can't do this, please!! I have trouble with Past Simple and Past Continuous. Wait, I can write in Polish, because I need someone who speak polish xD Sorry ^^
No to potrzebuję tłumaczenia (od razu lepiej...). Kilka mam po polsku, a kilka po angielsku i chciałabym żeby ktoś sprawdził czy ok. Dodam, że chodzi o użycie czasu przeszłego czyli pomieszanie Past Simple i Past Continuous. Mam korepetycje w piątek, a zadanie na jutro ;(
It all happend my friend when she was in England last summer. It was beautifull day and she was visiting London. She went to the Big Ben and Buckingham Palac. When she was going to the hotel she saw her friend who live next to her house!
At first she thought "It's impossible!", but she know her very good, she can't make mistake.
(I tu się zaczyna jazda, bo dalej to ja ani rusz xD)
Pobiegła do niej i zaczepiła. To naprawdę była ona! Poszły razem do kawiarni i długo rozmawiały o tym dziwnym spotkaniu. Zanim się rozstały wymieniły jeszcze wrażenia z pobytu w Londynie. Po powrocie opowiedziała znajomym tą historię, a oni myśleli na początku, że ich nabiera.
Please someone help, i need to translate to help a patient at the hospital who only speaks polish. Can you also type in how to pronounce it please? i highly appreciate it~!
I didn't learn anything at my polish school. My mom spend 0 on that school, and it was a big waste, but hey... it was fun. I learn a lot in my normal school but not my other school. Why?
A friend of mine use to say something that sounds alike "pierook", and she said it means dork/nerd/geek. Is that right? How do I write it (I was planning to send her an email and name her after it:-P)?
My family is Polish and My grandparents spoke Polish. Grandma and Grandpa had always said that 'shut up' in Polish was pronounced [chee-oh-beach], but when I looked through a search engine, 'shut up' in Polish comes up as 'zamknij się'.
I'm just simply looking for a small helpful explanation as to why my grandparents would have told me this and how to pronounce 'zamknij się'.
THANKS!
I have this project for my Polish class.
I need pictures of people who lived in Dawna Polska because I have to dress as one of the people who lived back then. Like people who lived in Biskupin. If you find some descriptions about how they dressed please post them.
I need a lot of pictures. My teacher told me to watch Stara Basn to get a general idea of what she wants and I'm probably going to do that.
You can write in Polish. I don't really mind.
Jak ludzie ubierali sie w Dawnej Polsce? Zdjecia milo widziane ![]()

Please someone help, i need to translate to help a patient at the hospital who only speaks polish. Can you also type in how to pronounce it please? i highly appreciate it~!
I got a few questions
1 Is it easy to use?
2 Will it teach me everything I need to know to hold a decent conversation with a group of polish speakers?
3 Will it just teach me pronunciations, or does it do spelling, grammar and pronunciations?
4 Is it accurate? I have heard of people who have used Rosetta Stone to learn a language before, and it teaching them wrong words
Thanks a bunch, and any other information would be AWSOME!
I'm working on a little something, but I need the polish translation for "Love Never Fails". I've received a few different translations and they are completely different! Can someone please help?! Thank you!!

I need to learn to speak Polish, FAST. So I can visit my family in Poland. What is the best language software that can help me learn the language, quickly as possible. I am only in 7th grade and my allowance is only 20$ a month. Something affordable? Please tell me the cheapest, and the best, that work well. I am willing to save up my money for a while to get the one that works the best and fastest. I want to speak fluently in a little less than one year, [ and my Dzidzy will help me. ] Thank you!!!
I do not know much about Polish culture and I don't know if I tell my friend I love him he will think I am being forward. He is the best thing to happen to me, great to talk to sexy smile and body to go with it and don't get me started on his 6 pack.

Or something kinda like that lol?
We have some lovely young Polish friends here in the UK.
One of the couples has just had a lovely baby girl and we are going to see them at the week-end.
I would love to take a Polish type of gift to try to make them feel less far away from home.
I have a gift for the baby - some baby clothes.
What would you suggest as a present for the parents?
Is there any restrictions or 'no-no's' in the colour of flowers - red and white perhaps or does that (as in other cultures, signify death? - that would be a BIG mistake!).
Any suggestions gratefully received. Plus a greeting in Polish for me to write in the card would be wonderful.
Thank you so much.

I can also identify (but not fully translate) Dutch, Norwegian, Polish, German (I know a few words in German as well), Spanish (identical to French in grammar structure and some vocabulary), and a bit of Brazilian Portuguese.
What jobs can I look forward to?
